Blendworth expands its team

Blendworth fine fabrics has recently welcomed a new recruit to the team in the form of Design Manager, Steve Dobinson. Steve joins the Blendworth team with a wealth of over 20 years experience in the interior design industry. He started at ‘Today Interiors’ in the late 1980’s where he went on to win an award at ‘Decorex’. Steve then decided to make a move to America for 12 years where he worked for various designers and companies, before choosing to come back to England in 2004 to join the team at ‘Crowson’. This gave him a good introduction into the British interiors market again, also allowing him to meet a range of new people within the industry. Steve’s next role brought him to Blendworth on a freelance basis, where he helped produce the company’s stunning ‘Gallery’ collection. When offered a permanent position at ‘Diane Harrison Design Studios’ in Manchester, Steve took the job, but found he was liaising with Blendworth on a regular basis working on designs for them, so it wasn’t long before Steve made the move back to Blendworth, but this time on a permanent basis.
