Blendworth is the sole distributor of Eijffinger’s exclusive wall coverings and co-ordinating fabrics which are at the upper end of the price spectrum. The wall coverings, including flock and surface glass pearl effects, hologram effects and wall art, are often marketed under other product names so whilst the market may be familiar with the product, the name (pronounced eye-finger) may be less well known.

Eijffinger has a long history which began with Theo Eijffinger, a craftsman and retailer, who set up his company in The Hague in 1875. During the first 100 years of its existence, Eijffinger was almost exclusively connected with wallpapers, particularly their import. In the past 25 years, Eijffinger has introduced fabrics into its collection; developing its own collections rather than just importing them. In 1995, Eijffinger produced its own designer wallpaper which found its way into the upmarket stores. The company’s ‘Creations’ collection was a great success and the following collection, ‘Impressions’ equally so. Since 1997, Eijffinger has been exporting its products worldwide.
